Obituary:

Salem - Ronald K. Ashcraft, 72, of Center Point, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at his residence following a sudden illness.

He was born Oct.31, 1926, on Franks Run, Doddridge County, a son of the late Ira. M. and Iva Jane (Ice) Ashcraft.

Surviving are one brother, Faunce E. Ashcraft, Center Point; two sisters, Lillian Robinson, Nutter Fort and Emagene Costilow, Cleveland, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vance Ashcraft and Paul J. Ashcraft; one sister, Sarah L. Adams.

Mr. Ashcraft was a retired steel worker and Protestant.

Friends will be received at the Greathouse Funeral Home, Salem Chapel, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Point Christian Cemetery.
