NUTTER FORT -- Lillian V. Robinson, 94, of Edison Street, Nutter Fort, died Monday evening, April 16, 2001, at her residence.
She was born on Frank's Run, near Center Point, a daughter of the late Ira and Iva Jane Ice Ashcraft.
Her husband, Lloyd Robinson, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Denise Ramirez and husband, Jorge, Florida, and Dennis Spencer, Nevada; one great-granddaughter, Tracy Riddle, San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Faunce E. Ashcraft, Center Point; one sister, Emagene Costilow, Willow Wick, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and her "grand-puppy," Ashley.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Raymond Spencer; four brothers, Vance, Paul, Roland and Claire Ashcraft; and her sister, Leah Adams.
Mrs. Robinson had worked at McNichols Pottery as a decorator. She was a Methodist.
Friends may call at the Greathouse-Gemondo Funeral Home, Nutter Fort, from 6-9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at noon Friday with the Rev. D.D. Meighen presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Because she had a difficult time with her vision and had stated many times, "If only I could see better I could better deal with other things in life," memorial contributions can be made to the West Virginia Lions Sight Conservation, c/o Evan Hugus, Route 5, Box 632, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
