Mrs Samuel Rhea Preston, Jr died early yesterday morning in Columbia.
She was the former Mss Mecca Elizabeth Cooper, the daughter of William Cooper of Indiantown.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs Daniel F DeTreville of Columbia, Mrs George W Easterday of Coronada, California, and Mrs Grace Cooper North of Columbia; and a son, Samuel R Preston, III of Columbia.
Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
