PORT HENRY, N.Y. — Walter "Shakes" F. Wojewodzic, age 69, of 21 Whitney Street, passed away on Saturday, December 23rd 1995 at his home.

He was born on May 10th 1926 in Port Henry, N.Y., he was the son of Frank and Nellie (Yueasek) Wojewodzic.

He was a Naval Veteran of World War II.

He was the beloved husband of Irene V. (Mehr) Wojewodzic. Together they had four children; three sons and one daughter.

Mr. Wojewodzic was a retired employee of the Republic Steel Corporation in Mineville, N.Y.

A member of the Mineville VFW, and past president of the Lake Champlain Fish and Game Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, one son; Ronald J. Wojewodzic in 1976, an infant daughter; Christine L. Wojewodzic in 1968, three brothers; John, Frank, and Martin Wojewodzic, and one sister; Anna Goralczyk.

Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, N.Y.

Burial will take place this spring at the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah, N.Y.
