 HANCOCK - Frank G. Holmes, 73, Route 2, Hancock, died Monday morning in his daughter's home in Omro. He was born July 23, 1913, in Adams County, the son of Fred G. and Corabelle Tennant Holmes.


He married Norma Brown May 11, 1935, in Wisconsin Rapids. Mr. Holmes attended school in Adams County. He farmed in the town of Hancock and later worked in a factory in Rockford. In 1962 he and his wife moved to Oshkosh where he was employed as a warehouse supervisor at Miles Kimball Co. until his retirement in 1975. He also was a supervisor for the Green Thumb program of Wisconsin.


Surviving are his widow;, three daughters, Mrs. Maynard (Verna) McGinnis, Nekoosa, and Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Krasavage and Mrs. Arthur (Patricia) Miracle, both of Omro; four sons, Frank and Kenneth, both of Omro, Ronald, Winneconne, and Lawrence, Oshkosh; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hamilton-Leikness Funeral Home, Hancock, the Rev. Allen Ives officiating. Burial will be in Hancock Cemetery.


Friends may call from noon until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
