Two Greeley Men Found Dead At Home -
Edward Jurzenski, 74 and his son, Bernard, 46, were found dead at their farm home five miles northwest of Greeley last Wednesday morning, victims of monoxide poisoning.....it was discovered that a faulty flu had caused the problem.....

Bernard Jurzenski was born on the farm on Sept. 18, 1925 to Edward and Eleanor Zulkoski Jurzenski. He grew to manhood there and was graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Greeley in 1943.

He served in the armed forces from 1944 to 1946 in the European Theater. After discharge, he returned to the family farm of his parents and was in partnership with his father. He never married.

Bernard was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and had served on the board of the Greeley Rural Fire Protection District. He and his father were both members of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his three sisters, Mrs. Delores Nowak of Greeley, Mrs. Elaine Foltz of Greeley and Mrs. Mildred Dubas of Fullerton.
