Mr. Colvin died March 14, in Paintsville. Born July 18, 1937, in Johnson County, he was the son of Jeff and Lennie Cantrell Colvin and was a resident of Oil Springs.
Surviving are a son, Michael Dean Colvin, Paintsville; his step mother, Margarett Reed, Barnetts Creek; two brothers, Lowell Colvin, River and Jimmy Colvin, Oil Springs; three step brothers, Tony, Robert, and Jerry Reed, Barnetts Creek; and two sisters, Opal McQueen, Oil Springs, and Gail Lewis, Columbus, OH.
Rev. Charles Stapleton and Rev. John F. Ratliff will officiate at services in Pigeon Freewill Baptist Church at Oil Springs.
Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Oil Springs with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
