She was first married to Paul Andrew Williams in 1945, and then to Arthur Leroy Schmitt in 1957.
Surviving are two sons; Paul Andrew Jr. and Stephen Joseph; two daughters; Carol Edna and Pamela Scarlett; eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a sister, Janice Hasty Shirley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Madalyn Sue; two sisters; Janie Madalyn and Annie Kathryn; and a brother, James Alton Hasty, Jr.
