Mrs. Carey was born in Black Brook, New York 76 years ago but had been a resident of Greenwich village practically all her life. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Church, Sacred Heart Sodality and Court Tolentine, Catholic Daughters of America. She was the former Bridget Bagon.
Surviving were her husband; two sons, Raymond of Schuylerville, New York, and Leo of Albany, New York; one sister, Mrs. B. A. Healey, Au Sable Forks, New York, and several grandchildren.
