Funeral services for Raymond Henry Teach were held Saturday, July 21. 1984 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Everly, Iowa. Pastor Roger Hanson officiated.
Casket bearers were Craig Teach, Randy Schoelerman, Verlon Teach, Jim Sonius, Randy Sease and Curtis Jass.
Honorary casket bearers were Travis Teach and Jason Teach.
Interment was at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly with Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, in charge of
arrangements.
Raymond Henry Teach, the son of William and Sophia (Ebert) Teach was born February 26, 1909, near Paullina, Iowa. It was in the country schools near Paullina and Germantown Parochial School that he received his education. Following his schooling, he worked as a farm hand around Paullina.
Raymond married Nola Hansen, February 24, 1934, in Primghar, Iowa.
Following their marriage, they farmed south of Everly where they lived until retiring and moving to Spencer in November of 1973.
Mr. Teach was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church of Everly.
On July 18, 1984, Mr. Teach died suddenly at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 23 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rinehard and one sister, Freda Paulling.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Nola of Spencer; 2 daughters and their husbands: Donna and Merlyn Schoelerman of Hartley; Debbie and Jim Bailey of Casper, Wy.; 3 sons and their wives: Robert and Marlis Teach of Everly; Orlyn sad Leslie Teach of Fonda; Arvin and Pat Tesch of Everly; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ira Tesch of Paullina; 2 sisters: Hilda, Mrs. Charles Miller, Lucille, Mrs. William Hurtig; 3 half-sisters: Ella, Mrs. Raymond Appeldorn; Marcella, Mrs. Delbert Appeldorn; Luetta, Mrs. Leslie
Dau all of Paullina; one half-brother, LeRoy Mesner of Primghar, 2 stepbrothers: Earl Mesner of Sutherland, Walter Mesner of Paullina; as well as other relatives and many friends.
