George A. Finley, Moscow Native called in Death

George A. Finley, 67, a native of Moscow, IA died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday in the Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City following a seven weeks illness, according to word received here by local relatives. Mr. Finley had been a resident of Kansas City for 33 years.
The son of James and Caroline Geesy Finley, he was born at Moscow, IA , June 18, 1873. He married Anna Golnitz, Oct. 8, 1903 in Rock Island, and she died in March 1928. In August 1930 he was united in marriage to Luella Howe.
She survives together with six brothers, Fred of Columbus Junction. Robert and Arthur of Muscatine. Howard of West Palm Beach, Fla. Frank of West Liberty, and Will of Chicago; and three sisters. Mrs. Anna Lange of Moscow. Mrs. Della Brunswig of Rock Island and Mrs. Erma Askam of Muscatine.
His parents, one brother, and two sisters, as well as his first wife, preceded him in death.
The body will be sent to the Runge Funeral home in Davenport Wednesday morning and services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Runge chapel. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery at Davenport.
