Mabel I. Clark, 85, 637 N. Fourth St., Apollo, died March 30, 1987, in Welsey Manor Nursing Home, Kittanning.
Born Nov. 10, 1901, in Apollo, she was a daughter of the late H. Harry and Matilda Baker Black.
Mrs. Clark was a member First Lutheran Church of Apollo and Hose Co. No. 3 Auxiliary of Apollo.
Survivors include one son, Donald H. Clark, Apollo; a daughter, Mrs. Leland (Helen) Clepper, Apollo; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Michaels, Northeast, Mrs. Zelda Mercer, Kinsman, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Erma) Rosenberger, Apollo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Clark in December 1976; one brother, Arthur; and one sister, Grace Heckman.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shaffer and Rae Funeral Home, 310 S. Second St., Apollo. Visitation will be held Thursday in First Lutheran Church from 10 to 11 a.m. when a service will be conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Frederick Zikell.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Kiski Twp.
