Clinton, May _—At her home on Village [sic] street this morning occurred the death of Mrs. Francelia M. DeVinny after an illness of about two years. Mrs. DeVinny's maiden name was Francelia M. Lawton, the only daughter of the late Mary Stetson and Andrew Lawton. She was born in the town of Marshall in 1853, her folks coming [unreadable]. In 18__ she was united in marriage to George A. DeVinny, and took up their residence at Kirkland. In 1896 occurred the death of Mr. DeVinny. Mrs. DeVinny then moved to Clinton where she has since resided.
Mrs. DeVinny was a kind and gentle mother, believing in the golden rule and the care of the home.
In spite of loving care and tender nursing death claimed her. Mrs. DeVinny leaves to mourn her death three children, Mrs. Archibald E. Dawes of Kirkland, Mrs. Stanley E. Germond and Robert DeVinny of Clinton.
Funeral services will be held privately at her home on College street street at the convenience of the family. The remains may be viewed by friends Friday afternoon.
