MONTEREY PARK, CALIF – Joseph Rulon Orton, 55, Monterey Park, died at his home of a heart attack.
Mr. Orton was born Feb. 27, 1906, in North Ogden, a son of Charles E. and Zina M. Chugg Orton. He was reared and educated in Ogden and North Ogden.
He married Rhoda Bleazard Spt. 24, 1934, in Salt Lake City. They later moved to Los Angeles where Mr. Orton was employed as a chief accountant at the Riverside Cement Corp. of Los Angeles.
Surviving are his widow and one son: Stephen Rulon Orton; his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Raymond M. Orton and Marcus J. Orton, Ogden Glen L. Orton, Menlo Park, California; Mrs. W. A (Lucile) Hales, Mrs. Rowland (Clara) Corry, Mrs. Don C. (Rhea) King, Mrs. Lamer (Charlene) Wayman, all of Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier Calif.
