Victor J. Wacek, age 92, formerly of Francis Creek and currently a resident of Laurel Grove Assisted Living of Manitowoc, died late Saturday night, January 3, 2015 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center of Manitowoc.

Victor was born on August 3, 1922 in the township of Kossuth son of the late Henry and Anna (Novachek) Wacek. He attended local schools. Victor was a self employed painter for 25 years and farmed on the family farm in the town of Kossuth. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek.

Survivors include one sister: Clara Lensmeyer, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Mary Wacek, Green Bay; June Wacek, TX, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Anna Wacek; two brothers: Alvin Wacek; Clarence Wacek; and one brother-in-law: Clarence “Butch” Lensmeyer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. David Beaudry will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
