Clara was born on August 22, 1923 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Novacheck Wacek. Clara attended Manitowoc Vocational School and was employed with Mirro Aluminum and Paragon Electric in Two Rivers. On October 8, 1946 she married Clarence Lensmeyer at St. Ann Catholic Church in Francis Creek. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1991. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the St. Clare Society. Clara enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and card games, dancing and traveling. She was also a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Czech Choraliers.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Lensmeyer, Madison, Randolph "Randy" (Shirley) Lensmeyer, Manitowoc, and Mark (Rose) Lensmeyer, Whitelaw; one daughter, Mary Kay (Dale) Biely, Whitelaw; grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Wacek, Green Bay; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna Wacek, husband, Clarence Lensmeyer, son, Thomas Lensmeyer, three brothers, Alvin, Victor, and Clarence Wacek, sister in infancy and one great grandson, Jackson Muhowski.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, December 20 , 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Jason Blahnik. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Following the funeral service there will be a luncheon held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
