SPRINGFIELD - Gary W. Cook, 59, of Springfield died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born April 30, 1948, in Springfield, the son of James and Lena Allison Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Ron; and two sisters, Tudy Neale and Rita Bosaw.
Mr. Cook worked in maintenance for Cook Rental Properties.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
He was a member of the DAV.
Surviving are two sons; three daughters; five grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marie Cook of Springfield; several nieces and nephews; and companion.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 N. Fifth St. Services will be held there at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008, with Pastor Clint Cook officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
