RICHARD R. BAUER (d. 1995)
Richard R. Bauer, age 73, of 3002 Lindbergh Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday, September 9, 1995, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 1995, at Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. James Stamborski with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born May 3, 1922, in Manitowoc, son of the late Richard and Clara Kasten Bauer. He married the former Germaine Brandl June 2, 1945, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Richard operated the family farm until 1978 and then continued his employment at Manitowoc Engineering until his retirement. Mr. Bauer was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Germaine Bauer, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard and Bonnie Bauer, Manitowoc, Randy Bauer and his fiancée, Kay Lynn Kornely, Manitowoc four daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Don Hailer, Newton, Jan and Mike Sinor, Manitowoc, Bonnie an Steve Sorge, Kaukauna. Tina and Brian Muck, Manitowoc; his step-mother, Amanda Bauer, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Glenda Bauer, Idaho; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Ralph Bonin, Manitowoc; Ione and Russell Steeber, Kellnersville; Pat and Stan Hollen, Manitowoc. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, James.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4-8 p.m. TONIGHT where a prayer service will be held at 7 .m. led by Rev. James Stamborski.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.
