Susan Dickerman was born on September 16, 1882 in New Hampton, NH. She was the 2nd daughter of Charles E. and Stella (Sawtelle) Dickerman. Susan married Charles LeBaron Kasson, Sr. on April 2, 1908 in Boston, MA. The couple had two sons and one daughter - Charles LeBaron Kasson, Jr. and Stella Kasson(who were twins), and a younger son, Frank Dickerman Kasson. Susan died on October 19, 1944 in Milton, MA.

Susan Dickerman Kasson is not interred in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA. However, one of the sides of the marker in the George H. Dickerman Family Plot is inscribed "In Memory of Susan Dickerman Kasson." Charles LeBaron Kasson, Sr. is buried in the Day Family Plot in in the Linwood Cemetery in Haverhill, MA.
