She was born on November 30, 1921, in Tahoka to G.R. "Bud" and Cleo Monagill Milliken. She died May 15, 2005, in Lubbock. Her parents preceded her in death.
She graduated from Tahoka High School in 1938. She married her husband of 65 years, Woodrow Wilson Edwards, on April 7, 1940, in Tahoka. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church of Tahoka. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Wilson Edwards of Lubbock; one son, Craig Edwards of Floydada; two sisters, Joe Belle Robinson of Tahoka, and Tommie Williamson of Carlsbad, NM; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Tahoka.
