Services for Tommie C. Williamson, 91, of North Thomas Street, were held at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Craig Cockrell officiating. Interment followed in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson died Monday, May 15, 2006, at Lakeview Christian Home-Northgate Unit.
Arrangements were made by West Funeral Home.
Tommie Corrine Milliken Mathis Williamson was born Sept. 4, 1914, in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas, to George Ruben and Cleo (McGonagill) Milliken. She moved to Carlsbad in 1943 and remained to make Carlsbad her home.
She married Frank C. (F.C.) Williamson Jr. on June 15, 1959, in Carlsbad.
Tommie was employed as the bookkeeper for Carlsbad Car Parts for many years. She was also a homemaker and mother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lambda Chi Omega and Landsun Auxiliary.
Tommie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 26, 2005; and one brother, six sisters and a grandson, Mike Trembly.
Tommie is survived by two sons, Donn Mack Mathis and wife Lois, and Tom Mathis and wife Dianne; a sister, Jo Belle Robinson of Tahoka, Texas; brother-in-law, Wilson Edwards of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren, Donn Lynn Mathis and wife Tammy, Terry Mack Mathis and wife Teresa, DeAnn Najar and husband Randy, Kim Cavender and husband Brett, Shelley Lucero, and Tim Trembly; 17 great-grandchildren, Steven Mack Mathis, Mandy Mathis, Wendy Ballard, Trevor Mathis, Kelby Mathis, Christopher Najar, Tommy Najar, Dustan Najar, William Mack Mathis, Matthew Mack Mathis, Sarah Wilson, Chaz Wilson, Travis Trembly, Levi Trembly, Mackenzie Trembly, Kimberly Cavender and Christian Cavender; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Mack Mathis and Garrett Lynn Ballard.
Pallbearers were great-grandchildren.
