Mary died Feb. 25, 1914 at the Episcopal Hospital of Philadelphia, PA of Tuberculosis. She was 61 years old. Mary was buried at Lock Haven, PA on Feb. 27th. The informant on her death certificate was Frank W. Monroe, of 319 13th St.

Monroe – Mrs. Mollie Monroe, widow of the late James Monroe, died at her home in Philadelphia, Wednesday. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. Patrick McCaffrey and Councilman Walter Agar of this city. The remains were brought to this city and funeral services were conducted Saturday morning from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment was made in St. Mary’s cemetery.
