A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Migues Cemetery in Delcambre.
Mrs. Ewing was born on June 29, 1925 on Weeks Island to Rudolph and Annie Viola Kennedy Miguez. She worked has a LPN Nurse in Loreauville, and at Dauterive Hospital and other places. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, painting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, George William Ewing and wife Vivian of Eatonville, WA, Barry Dean Ewing of Cypremort Point, Carol Lyons of Jeanerette, and John Wayne Ewing of New Iberia; sister, Nancy Bove of New Orleans; brother, Carl Miguez of Franklin; 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ewing, Jr.; sisters, Gloris Bonn, Eunice Bruno, Jeanette Jones, Frances Miguez; and a brother, Vernon Miguez.
