Her date and place of death are given in her Indiana death certificate for which her sister, Theresa Lewinski, was the informant. Theresa reported that Clara had not married. It was her understanding that Clara had been born Oct. 15, 1906 in South Bend, Indiana, to Constantine and Lottie Lewinski. The transcription of Clara's listing in the Social Security Applications and Claims Index includes the same dates of birth and death as in her Indiana death certificate.
