From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, November 23, 1965, page 19:

Edward J. Lewlnski, 68, who lived with his son, Edward L., at 712 Dale Ave., died in his sleep Monday.
He was found dead by his son. A representative of the St. Joseph County coroner's office said he died of natural causes.

Mr. Lewlnski was born in South Bend April 11, 1897, and lived there until three years ago when he came to Mishawaka. His wife, Hildegarde, died In 1926 (1925).

Mr. Lewinski had been employed as a maintenance man at the University of Notre Dame for 10 years until he retired in 1962.

Surviving besides his son Edward, are a daughter, Mrs Loretta M. Smith, of Norwalk Conn., eight grandchildren, two brothers, Adolph and Joseph, of South Bend, and three sisters Sophia, Theresa and Clara Lewinski, all of South Bend.

He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 6, South Bend.
