Edmund F. (Rocky) Rockwell, 65, of 295 South Morris Street, Waynesburg, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 1982, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past several months.
He was born December 4, 1915, in Whiteley Township, a son of Walter C. and Myrtle Higgins Rockwell.
Mr. Rockwell spent all his life in the Waynesburg area. He was affiliated with the Fairall United Methodist Church. For several years he was employed by Eidermiller Construction Co. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the James Farrell Post 330, American Legion, and VFW Post 4793. A 1935 graduate of Waynesburg High School, Mr. Rockwell was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 461, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 598, both in Waynesburg.
Surviving are two uncles, Frank J. Higgins and Harvey H. Higgins, both of Waynesburg R.D. 3; an aunt, Mrs. Pearl Phillips of Oakland, Md., and several cousins.
