Vivian K. Perkins, 88, of Conneaut Lake, died Thursday, May 21, 2015, at St. Mary’s East, Erie. She was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Clymer, NY, a daughter of Delbert J. and Helen Ayers King. She married Marvin L. (Perk) Perkins Sr. on April 24, 1948. Vivian was a 1944 graduate of Clymer Central High School and following graduation was employed at the Post Office in Clymer. She subsequently worked as a bookkeeper for Agway Supply Center, Meadville, for 25 years. Vivian was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and was a former Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. Vivian enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, doing word puzzles, traveling with her husband and especially spending time with family and friends. Survivors include daughters, Bettylou Perkins and Lauralee (Mark) Watlock; son, Marvin (Jody) Perkins Jr.; three grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Damcott and Ava Woodworth; sister-in-law, Jane Nagel and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald, Carlton, Maynard and an infant, Kenneth King; and sister, Velma Bailey. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
