Clymer- Delbert J King, 80 of Mill Street, Clymer, died at 6:35 pm Saturday (May 26, 1979) in Corry Memorial Hospital, Corry, PA
He was born April 7, 1899 in French Creek, the son of Abram & Kate Groters King and was a lifelong resident of Clymer.
King was a retired 25-year employee of Agway of Clymer.
He was a member of Abbe Reformed Church, Clymer Golden Agers, and was a former member of the Clymer Grange.
Surviving are three sons, Gerald King of Jamestown, Carlton King of San Diego, CA, and Maynard King, Pheonixville, PA; four daughters, Mrs Donald Damcott, Sherman, Mrs Robert Bailey of Clymer, Mrs Marvin Perkins of Conneaut Lake, PA and Mrs Robert Woodworth of Chesterland, OH; 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; a brother Floyd King of Clymer and two sisters, Mrs Clifford Spruce and Mrs Glenn TeWinkle, both of Clymer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ayers on Dec 26, 1974; a son Kenneth, and a brother Glenn King.
The funeral was at 11 am today in Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer. The Rev. John Jenner, pastor of the Clymer Hill Reformed Church, officiated. Burial was in Clymer Cemetery.
