Arlon Hayden Mason (69) passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 13, 1946 to Clarence & Nancy Lou White Mason.
He was a member of Booneville Church of Christ.
He worked as an exterminator for Gold Bond Pest Control for forty plus years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, racing and being with his grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Booneville Church of Christ with Bro. Greg Pollock officiating. Dale Ross will read the eulogy.
Burial will be in the Gaston Cemetery. Kesler Funeral Home in Baldwyn is in charge of the arrangements.
Arlon is survived by Sue Mason of Booneville; one Son, Ray Mason (Angie) of Booneville; three Grandchildren, Kim Stone (Vince), Hollie Hawkins and Kaila Mason; one Great-Grandchild, Mason Stone; two Brothers: Jimmy Mason (Betty) of Eads, Tennessee, Dr. Gary Mason (Debra) of Oxford and a host of nieces & nephews.
Arlon's Special caregiver was his niece, Glenda Owens.
Arlon was preceded in death by his parents; two bothers, Herman Mason and Cullen Mason and one sister, Vonnie Summerford.
Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
