CHILDS, MYRA ELLA CREEKMORE age 83 of Kingston passed away Wednesday May 19, 2004 at Roane Medical Center. She was a member of South Harriman Baptist Church. A member of the Eastern Star, an avid bluegrass musician who played several instruments. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Survivors: daughters & sons-in-law Jeepie Vera & Claude Driskill of Kingston Joyce & Charles Ingram of Harriman, Jo and Frank Carr of Huntsville, Al, Deborah & David Scarbrough of Knoxville sons & daughters-in-law, Jerry & Rebecca Childs of Knoxville Pastor George & Lolanda Childs of Stewartville, Al sisters & brothers-in-law, Imogene & Woodrow Jett of Erie, TN, Frances Hayes of Ooltewah, TN, Joann & Charles Davis of Harriman 17 grandchildren 37 great grandchildren. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
