Jeepie Driskill Obituary

Jeepie Vera Jane Childs Driskill. 82, of Murfreesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2023. She entered heaven peacefully after an extended illness surrounded by her devoted husband, children and grandchildren.
Jeepie was born November 20, 1940 in South Harriman,TN. She spent her childhood in Rockwood and Wylie, Texas. Jeepie and Claude lived many years in Kingston TN before moving to Murfreesboro to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
On January 18,1960 in Wylie,TX, Jeepie married the love of her life, Claude Driskill who was her best friend, confidant and partner for 63 years. As a couple, they raised 4 girls and 1 boy. Spending time with family was the joy of her life.
In her youth, Jeepie enjoyed playing basketball, golf and camping with friends and family. She loved to travel and had visited every state but Alaska. She graduated from Rockwood High School in 1958. Alongside being an excellent wife and mother, Jeepie held several degrees. An associate from Roane State Community College, Bachelors in education from Tennessee Tech and a Masters in special education from Vanderbilt University. She was also a long time Girl Scout leader as well as an Acteens leader in her church.
Jeepie is survived by Claude and 4 children
