LINCOLN – Beryle "Mamie" Rideout, 92, of Lincoln, ME was reunited with her family in heaven on June 26, 2015. Beryle was born to the late Edwin & Mary Goodwin of Silver Ridge, ME on January 31, 1923.
"Mamie" was a strong woman with a kind and gentle soul. She devoted her life to her family which always came first. In her younger years she loved the outdoors, snow sledding, camping and fishing. Later in life she always loved to visit with friends and family and play a good game of rummy. She also made the most beautiful crocheted afghans.
"Mamie" will be sadly missed by a daughter-in-law, Cora Rideout of New Mexico and a sister, Carlyn "Babe" Greulich of New Jersey. She is also survived by: her grandchildren, Elise Rideout and her fiance Lee Hockridge of ME, Suzanne Tidwell of New Mexico, Yvonne and her husband Corey Albert of ME, Ernest Rideout and his wife Kristy of New Mexico. Great grandchildren, Tessa and her husband Adam Cyr, Dale Nielsen and his girlfriend Kristina Tolman, Victoria, Austin, and Trevor Crocker, Tristan and Sara Albert all of ME, Tyler Tidwell, Kylie and Kara Rideout all of New Mexico. Great, Great grandchildren, Zachary Wills, Owen Cyr, William Nielsen all of ME and many nieces and nephews.
"Mamie" was predeceased by her husband Ernest Rideout, a son William G. Rideout, a grandson Galen Crocker and a grandson-in-law Thad Tidwell, along with two sister's Ponola Black and Gladys Goodwin, six brothers, Fred, Edwin"Kike", Montel, twins Lowell and Lyle, and Erland Goodwin and a special friend Bert "Sodie" Lyons.
