Death of Ashley Woman
Mrs. Margaret Gaughan, a highly respected resident of Ashley died at her home, 14 Rutz street, that place, last night, following an illness of dropsy. Mrs. Gaughan had been a resident of Ashley the last forty-five years and was a faithful member of St. Leo's Church. The following children survive: Anthony, Hugh, Katherine, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mrs. Dennis Henry, Mrs. William Connoly, Mrs. Bernard Shovlin. She is also survived by two brothers, Patrick and Roger Mack. Her husband died several years ago.
The funeral wil be held from the family home, Thursday morning at 9:30. A high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Leo's Church at 10 o'clock with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
