ELIZABETH McKERNAN
Mrs. Elizabeth B. McKernan of 24 Mary Street, Ashley, died at 5:30 last night in General Hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. McKernan was born in Ashley, daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Mack Gaughan. She was a member of St. Leo's Church and the Altar and Rosary Society and the Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Engineers and Firemen. Her husband, Leo, died several years ago.
Children surviving are Richard, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Edison Carey, at home; John, Hanover Township; a sister, Sarah Gaughan, Ashley; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 689 Hazle Avenue. Friends may call tonight 7 to 10 and thereafter 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
