Mrs. Edwin Macconnell

Cadillac - Mrs. Edwin (H. Beverly) MacConnell, 60, of 611 Sunnyside Drive died at Mercy Hospital Wednesday evening shortly after she entered following a sudden illness.
Se was born Oct 15,1916, in Detroit and attended schools there, graduating from Cooley High School. On Dec. 23, 1933, she married Edwin F. MacConnell in Detroit.
She was employed at Hudson's Department Store in Detroit, The Northern Chair Co. in Cadillac. She moved to Cadillac in 1945 from Van Dyke.
Mrs. MacConnell was a member of St. Ann's Church and the Mercy Hospital Guild.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Domonic (Patricia) Mercurio of St. Clair Shores, Mrs. Donald (Noreen) Gustafson of Cadillac and Mrs. Kennith (Kathleen) Balk of Grand Rapids; three brothers, John P. O' Connor of Romeo, Edward J. O' Connor of Kalamazoo, and Robert E. O' Connor of Detroit; a sister Mrs. Edwin (Joan) Socall of Cadillac and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a. m. in St. Ann's Church, Rev. Edwin A. Thome will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited this evening at 8 in Peterson Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime until services.
