Vincent Alfred Aiello of 508 Washington Road, Washington, IL, a former resident of Springfield, died suddenly of a heart attack at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at his residence. He was 41 years old.

Mr. Aiello was born in St. Louis, April 16, 1909, but resided in Springfield most of his lifetime, moving to Washington about six months ago. He was employed by the Caterpillar Tractor Co. at Peoria, IL.

He is survived by his wife Fern (Farley), two daughters,Mary Ann and Josephine and one son Vincent Jr., all at home; father Dominic Aiello, four brothers, Anthony, Phillip, Joseph and Sam all from Springfield, and four sisters, Mrs. Sam Bologna, St. Louis, MO, Mrs. James Palazzolo and Mrs. Dominic Palazzolo and Miss Frances Aiello all of Springfield.

Remains are at Kirlin & Egan funeral home where friends may call from 5pm to 10 pm today and from 5pm to 10 pm tomorrow.

The rosary will be recited at 8pm tomorrow at the funeral home. Services will be held at 9 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart church, Rev. John S. Brockmeier officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
