She was born on May 7, 1930, in Springfield, the daughter of Dominic and Anna Maria Parisi Aiello. She married Louis Romano on April 8, 1961 in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Grace Bologna, Josephine Aiello and Mary Palazzolo; and six brothers, Jasper, Vincent, Anthony, Phillip, Joseph, and Samuel Aiello.
She is survived by her husband, Louis of Springfield; a son, Peter Louis (wife, Amy) Romano of Springfield; two grandchildren, Isabella May and Sophia Marie Romano, both of Springfield; a sister, Rose Palazzolo of Rockford; a brother, Jasper (wife, Marie) Aiello of Sherman: and several nieces, nephews and cousins
Frances was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company in 1987 after working there many years. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church and later became a member of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009, at St. Joseph Church with the Monsignor Thomas Holinga officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to St. Joseph's Church.
