William Fulton was the son of James Fulton and Ann Christopher. He fought with Maneely's Rangers at the Battle of Thames in the War of 1812. The great Shawnee chief Tecumseh was killed in that battle. He married Mary Coalman, daughter of Abraham & Abigail Coalman and had many children. The descendents of their son James now live in Oregon and Washington.
