Mary Paschal Hobson was the daughter of Coleman Paschal and Sarah Street and the granddaughter of Isaiah Paschal. Her brother Asa Newton Paschal died in the Andersonville prison during the Civil war. She saved all of his letters home which are now published in the book "From Beardstown to Andersonville, The Civil War Letters of Asa Newton Paschal and Samuel Thomas Paschal." Mary married Jonathon Hobson and had four daughters and two sons. Her daughter Clara married Charles Chase Parker Fulton and moved to Chehalis, Washington.
