Cora L. Robbins
Shelby County native Cora L. Robbins, 94, Rushville, died Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor, Rushville.
Born Nov. 19, 1903, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of George and Emmaline (Hughbank) Hill. On Sept. 10, 1922, she married John D. Robbins, and he died Jan. 22, 1995.
Mrs. Robbins had lived in Rush County since 1937. She had been a resident of Miller's Merry Manor since 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksburg Covenant Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Robbins, Orange Springs, Fla., Ernest Robbins, Clarksburg, and John Ed Robbins, Fort Wayne; four daughters, June Jenks, Ormand Beach, Fla.; Mrs. George (Louise) Gordan, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Leon (Rose) Voris and Thelma Robbins, both of Rushville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, two half brothers and two half sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Moster & Cox Mortuary, Rushville, with the Rev. James Ward officiating. Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery, Rush County.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
