He was born in Randolph County, June 18, 1808, his wife, Sarah Jarvis, was born March 16, 1809. They were married January 1, 1828. They have had twelve children, seven girls and five boys, nine are still living."
The Weston Republican, Sat. 8 Dec. 1888:
"TURNER, MRS. GEORGE, wife of Squire George Turner, died at her home on Sand Fork, on the 5th ultimo. She was a very estimable old lady, and had reared a large and respectable family."
