U.S. Veteran Graveside services for Mr. Foss Mannion Rich, age 71, of Cookeville and formerly of Overton County will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Cope Cemetery in the Boom Community of Pickett County with Military Honors by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will receive friends at the time of service.
Mr. Rich passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1943 in Fentress County to the late Jesse & Adah Winningham Rich of the Boom Community. He was a Vietnam Veteran and lived most of his life in Atlanta, Ga. where he worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his brother, Kelly Rich of Rickman, Tn.; sisters, Alba Johnson of Detroit, Mi., Enola Roehrer of Algood, Tn., Norma Kerbaugh of Gallatin, Tn., Sandra Rich of Sparta, Tn., Jane Lefew of South Carolina, & Jean Parsons of Monroe, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ava Allred, Adah Rich,& Margaret Huckeby; brothers, Clifton, Jesse Jr., Daniel, Bill, George, John, Alfred, & Perry Rich.
