Pvt. Albert J. Adams of Seven Springs has been reported killed in action on February 23 in France, according to a telegram received by his wife, the former Miss Ruth Shivar of Seven Springs.
Pvt. Adams entered the army on August 14 and received training at Camp Wheeler, Ga. and Ft. Meade, Md. He was serving with the 7th Army in France and had been overseas approximately two weeks.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Allen and Hayward, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Adams; three sisters and three brothers, all of Seven Springs.
