Mary Catherine Smith, daughter of William Spurgeon Smith and Lula Sherry Smith was born June 7, 1925 in Redbank Township, Armstrong County, Pa.

Mary passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the age of 90.

Mary worked at the Sylvania plant in Brookville until the plant closed and then attended Beauty School in Erie and became a licensed cosmetologist, she worked in Pittsburgh for several years before learning electroloysis and opened 'Mary's Place' in her home in Canonsburg, Pa., Mary spent her last few days living with her sister Dottie in Distant, Pa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Spurge and Lula Smith and siblings, Leo Ray Smith, William Clarence Smith and Harry Gene Smith,

She is survived by siblings Betty Jane Nolf, John Earl & (Louise) Smith, (Edgar) & Dorothy Smith Kunselman and several nieces and nephews.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family.
