Donald Hubert (Buddy) Amonette, 58, of Cowan, died December 25 at his residence.
He was a retired shipping clerk with Cowan Stone Company and a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge.
A native of Fentress County, Tennessee, he was born October 27, 1930 to James Amonete and Lydia Fuqua Amonete, who survives.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, at Watson-Gamble Chapel, with the Revs. J. D. May and and Ray Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
In addition to his moher, of Winchester, survivors include his wife, Martha Sue Thorpe Amonete of Cowan; one daughter, Donna Watson, of Winchester; one son, David Amonette of Cowan; wo sisters, Lois Sells and Wilma Ray, both of Cowan; and one brother, Bobby Amonette of Cowan.
