Lydia Ethel Ammonett, 81, of Cowan, died May 5 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Tennessee.
She was born in Jackson County, Tennessee on August 29, 1907 to the late Albert E. Fuqua and Phoebe Vincent Fuqua.
Services were May 7 at Moore-Cortner Chapel followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Ray and Lois Sells, both of Cowan; one son, Bobby Amonett of Cowan; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
