Baby Smothered to Death.
Leroy Neal, the little six-weeks old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Neal, living near New Salem, died Friday morning at about eleven o'clock from accidental suffocation. The little one was asleep in it's bed and while the mother was out of the house their little two-year-old daughter who was playing about the room piled a number of pillows in the crib on the baby, smothering the little one and causing his death. When the mother arrived she found the baby dead.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock at the residence and burial was made in the New Salem cemetery. - Winfield Courier.
