Edna McKay 73, of 826 Hedge St., died at 7:33 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center

Born April 7, 1918, in Chadwick, Mo., she was the daughter of Walter R. and Cora E. McNeil Calvin. She married Earl McKay Aug. 11, 1939, in Lufkin, Texas.

She attended Creston High School. She was a homemaker ad was baptized in the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are her husband; three sisters, Nadine Walker, Danville, Velda Darbyshire, Warsaw, Mo., and Velma Dipboye, Springdale, Ark.; four brothers, Ralph Calvin, Longmont, Colo., Ted Calvin, Burlington, Jerry Calvin, Peterborough, N.H., and Armond [sic] Calvin, Morning Sun; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lunning Chapel.

The service for Mrs. McKay will be 10 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. David Lukov officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham.
