FRANK PHILLIPS IS FOUND DEAD
Frank Phillips, 68, of 2320 E. Cornell Ave., was found dead at 12:30 p.m. yesterday lying on the seat of his pickup truck on a road between Ash St. and Cornell Ave.

Coroner W.L. Dragoo said Phillips apparently suffered a heart attack.

Mr. Phillips was born Feb. 2, 1882 in Rushville. He had resided in Springfield for the last 40 years.

He was a member of Pasfield Southern Baptist church.

On July 19, 1937, he married Lennie Crenshaw.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his mother, Mrs. Alice Phillips, city; two sons, William and Edward, both of city; one stepson, Don Crenshaw; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Cawley, Mrs. Edith Daughterty, Mrs. Wilma Gorbett, Mrs. Fern Crenshaw, Mrs. Ardell Thompson, all of city; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Geraldine Jaronske, Fontana, Calif.; one brother, Fred, city; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Harris, city; 30 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
