Fern E. Dugger, 73, of Springfield died Thursday at her home.
She was born May 5, 1921, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Mayme Phillips.
She married Thomas C. Dugger in 1977 in Springfield.
Mrs. Dugger was a lifelong resident of Springfield.
She was a member of Springfield Southern Baptist Church for 40 years and was formerly employed by Franklin Life Insurance Co. and Hope School for the Blind.
Survivors: husband, Thomas C.; a son; two daughters; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Wilma) Lockenour, Opal Cawley and Ardell Thompson, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Pasfield Southern Baptist Church, the Rev. Milton Bost officiating.
Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park. Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
